David C. Steinberg founded Steinberg & Associates, Inc. in 1995. David’s reputation as a world-renowned cosmetic and topical OTC drug industry expert continues, although he retired at the end of 2021. His legacy lives on through the reputation of the company he founded.

Debbie Waite is a certified paralegal with nearly 30 years of industry experience as a cosmetic regulatory affairs professional. She is adept at helping clients structure their marketing claims to make the strongest compliant claim possible and ensuring product warnings are meaningful and concisely worded.  She believes in the synergy of teamwork. 

Mo Lovelace is a regulatory affairs professional with nearly 25 years of extensive industry expertise. Her experience includes regulatory oversight for a wide variety of product lines. Her two degrees, Bachelor of Technology (Manufacturing) and Bachelor of Science (Food), give her a solid knowledge base. Mo knows how to get the job done quickly and correctly, enabling her to service client needs efficiently and expertly. 

Maria Dominguez is a certified Safety Assessor, with experience in regulatory submission and product registration across international markets. Her background in dentistry has equipped her with flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to develop creative solutions while collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds. This experience inspired her to obtain a Certificate in Cosmetic Regulatory Essentials from the Institute of Personal Care Science. Maria also offers expert formula and artwork reviews and assists in authoring cosmetic SDS. She is a consummate professional. 

Jessica Thomas is a regulatory affairs professional with over 15 years of experience in personal care regulation and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Her expertise lies in formulation and labeling compliance, along with FDA OTC registrations. Jessica’s attention to detail ensures that product formulations are thoroughly reviewed and packaging artwork is fully compliant and consistent. 

Becky Bellos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and began her career as a chemist for a skincare company. From there, she transitioned to a quality chemist role in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. Her laboratory experience and attention to detail have facilitated her transition into the regulatory arena over five years ago. Becky focuses on product registrations and notifications, getting them done quickly and accurately.  

Kaitlyn McEwan holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, which has provided her with a strong understanding of biology and physiology. Kaitlyn has completed the Cosmetic Regulatory Essentials program at the Institute of Personal Care Science and continues to participate in educational webinars and conferences to enhance her regulatory expertise. Her scientific background and quick learning ability have enabled her to author meaningful and accurate SDS, formula reviews and ingredient listings. 

Sarah Waite brings over 17 years of experience within the household and cosmetics industries. With a background in formulation, packaging, process engineering, and supply chain management, her transition to regulatory affairs has been seamless. She holds two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Bioprocess Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management.  Her attention to detail and organizational skills are key assets for our ingredient data management.
